Basic feature demonstration: "Demo Website"

This example shows a typical website, which had only a simple password protected user area. The "Demo Website" is now protected with SafeTok, which was added to the basic password.

What should I try out?

The two most common scenarios: existing website users add SafeTok protection, and new users register and setup SafeTok protection.

As you will see after trying both of the approaches out, the process is very similar. In both cases it is fast and easy to setup and use.

Either way, you will need some sort of device to register as your SafeTok device. Therefore, please get a USB Stick or an alternative ready.

New user registers and sets up SafeTok protection

To get started, go to the "Demo Website protected with SafeTok".

1. Click Register, to create a new account

2. Choose a username and password, click register.

3. Log in to your new account. You will be asked to set up SafeTok.

4. Follow the instructions on screen, the wizard will guide you.

5. Log out from the account

6. Try to log in again, this time with SafeTok protection set up

Things to try out

- disconnect your SafeTok device, try to login without it

- log out and keep your SafeTok device connected, when you log in

- get a biometric USB Stick to try out full 3-factor authentication

- try transaction confirmation by modifying the "secret message"

Existing user adds SafeTok protection

The process is quite similar, but to make it more realistic we added an extra old copy of the Demo Website, without SafeTok protection.

First, go to the "Unprotected Demo Website" to create an account.

1. Click Register, to create a new account

2. Choose a username and password, click register.

3. Log in to your new account - no SafeTok protection yet.

Next, go to the "Demo Website protected with SafeTok".

4. Log in to your new account. You will be asked to set up SafeTok.

5. Follow the instructions on screen, the wizard will guide you.

6. Log out from the account

7. Try to log in again, this time with SafeTok protection set up
